Charlie Moore

Biography

Charlie graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London, in 2006 and joined the practice that year. He originates from Wells, his family owned Harrill's Butchers on Wells High St, which is now a branch of C&G. He has two dogs and seven cats. Outside of work he enjoys his family as with three small children there is little time for anything else. Charlie covers all aspects of veterinary care within the practice, being the last remaining mixed veterinary practitioner, but has a particular interest in surgery of both farm animals and pets.

Hannah Bradon

Biography

Hannah joined Westfield Farm Vets in August 2017. Hannah, originally from 'The Wirral', moved South after graduation to work within a large farm animal practice in Wiltshire/Hampshire and despite her Northern roots has been persuaded to remain in the South West ever since. Hannah has specialised in Farm Animal Practice since graduating from Liverpool University in 2013 immersing herself in rural vet life, enjoying a mix of dairy fertility work, routine visits and emergency call outs. She has spent time teaching final year vet students from the Royal Veterinary College and enjoys leading discussion groups and organising farmer events. Hannah has a passion for all things livestock related but has a particular interest in infectious diseases, herd and flock health planning and dairy youngstock health. She also has an interest and experience in some of the more unusual farmed species such as camelids, goats, pigs and poultry and is a member of the Goat Veterinary Society. In her spare time Hannah enjoys running and exploring the Somerset countryside with her cocker spaniel.

Iain Whyte

Biography

Iain graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Glasgow University in 1972. After working in Scotland for a few years, he moved to Wells in 1984 and has been a partner at the practice ever since. Iain works mainly on the large animal side of the practice, and organises the 'My Healthy Herd' scheme.

Marie Johnson

Farm Vet Support

Biography

Marie has been a retail manager for several years before joining the team at Westfield in November 2014. She lives on her family beef and dairy farm where she enjoys helping out in her spare time. She has her own herd of beef cattle which she manages with her sons. She also has lots of chickens and ducks. Marie enjoys playing hockey, cycling and baking cakes.
